Ok...so I guess I'll give a go at my first real blog (even though I am not overseas yet). First off, in case any of you were wondering. "Gibli Birra" means "Give me a beer" in Maltese. It is one of the only phrases that I can remember in that language. My trip begins on May 12th, all by myself for 12 hours, but im sure i can entertain myself (hopefully). I am going straight to Italy where Katie and Laura will be meeting up with me. Then let the fun begin. Im not the best at journal type deals, but hopefully with Katie and Laura's help I can master the art. Oh and dont be shy! please comment or blog back to us. It will be really nice to hear back from family and friends.

4 DAYS! E ANDIAMO VIA!! (and away we go)

This is also my first time to blog. Thanks to Clint our family and friends will be able to keep up with everything that's going on. WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!! Since I am known to not enjoy journaling very often, it will be nice for others to read what Clint and Katie write and know I am doing the same things. Maybe I will change my ways when I actually have something to write about. We will see....

Well everyone be thinking/praying for Katie and I as we travel halfway across the world this coming Monday! (And Clint in another week or so) Can't wait to share more with you all!

First Blog...Ever!

This is my first time blogging, so please be patient as we try to figure this out. Laura and I are leaving for Germany on Monday and will be meeting up with Lauren Hurley and staying with her. We will also be visiting with Levi Hooten, Daniel Luster, Kim McCleary, and Christy Moore (all UT architecture students), and their new friends from all over the world. We are soooo excited and can't believe we are leaving in 5 days! There is much to be done, as we are moving completely out of our apartment before we leave, but I'm sure somehow we'll manage to get everything done. Wish us luck and we will definitely keep you updated on the trip!
